Our intimate studio is located in the heart of downtown, at the Carter Building in the Glenwood South district.
Please wear comfortable clothing, bring water and plan to arrive at least 10 minutes before class starts and bring a yoga mat if you have one. If you don't have a mat don't worry, there are mats and props available for use during class.
Depending on which GPS system you use you may be sent all over the place. In case the GPS directions are confusing the carter building is the second building on Glenwood avenue, if you are turning off of Hillsborough Street (it technically looks like the "third" building because the carter building is a U-shaped building), directly beside Kelly Odom Flowers (102 Glenwood Avenue).
The easiest way to find COY is to walk through the parking lot in between the two sides of the Carter Building and enter through the Green Door with 16 beside it (you will also see a sign for COY near the door), once you enter through the door take a left down the hallway and COY is the third door on your right.
GPS may send you to the front of the building (the red door with a sign saying "Carter Building") if you enter through this door go down the hallway, and turn right at the end of the hallway, go up the two stairs to the right (through the yellow door) and the studio is the first door on your left.
Parking on the street is free after 5pm and weekends, there are usually a few spaces on the opposite side of the street. Also check the side streets near the building. The parking lots nearby require permits 24 hours a day.
Side streets are your friends! There are often more spots available on nearby side streets and the streets the run parallel to Glenwood (i.e. Boylan Avenue).
There is free parking on Willard, even during the day. Go past the first initial loading zone (if coming from Glenwood) and there are one hour (free) parking spots, in front of 610 Willard and further up Willard there are free parking spots with no time limits.
If you wish to ensure parking with a reserved spot, Park Select has a couple of reasonably priced parking options available in the two lots directly across the street from the studio. They offer extremely reasonable monthly rates and the ability to buy lower priced tokens for the $5 lot on Glenwood.
